We are living in precarious and ominous times. Several years ago, I set out to document our nation’s dependency on the grid system (Food, Water, Electrical and Monetary grid). I documented how our dependency on the Just-In-Time inventory system (though it is efficient when everything runs perfectly) is very fragile and prone to disruption… and here we are. We are now experiencing that very disruption.

Beyond Off Grid is a full-length documentary film that explores why we should strive to reduce our dependence on the modern economy and control grid, and how this can be accomplished. The modern consumer economy and associated way of living, with all its conveniences and comforts, is not resilient or resistant to calamity. In fact, it often distracts from true spiritual blessings. Let’s take this time to learn and grow.

If you need to be connected with a church that shares our Beyond Off-Grid mentality, you can email Pastor Joey Faust at jfaust1611@gmail.com. He is also featured in the documentary.

Great movie! It really shows where our country is headed unless we reform our ways and repent at the heart level. It also encourages you to go out and DO something about it.

I think this is something everyone needs to see. It’s not a matter of if, it’s a matter of when, and will we be ready? This film helps everyone realize the importance of truly being free and in control of our lives.

This film is a thoughtful, comprehensive, and insightful look at the way things are; and in the words of Francis Schaeffer, a look at ‘how should we then live.’ It contains a warning that our minds must be renewed, and a way to accomplish the transition we must make. Well done.
